Trip to London Day N Two

(PLEASE CLICK ON ALL THE COLORED BITS OF THE TEXT BELOW TO SEE THE VIDEOS)

While the younger Hucek was being wheeled away to the church,

The Day Number Two threw Maxime right in the noise and bustle Of Greater London - it started with his first ride on the big red double-decker .  Maxime looks so obviously smitten and delighted - with London and Manya's company and undivided attention!  The bus brought them to the Trafalgar Square, where they run into some eagles (why does it not surprise me?), which Maxime demanded to touch, but Mari had to explain that it would not be a great idea!  They assisted at the Changing Horse Guards  (be careful, turn your volume down) and moved towards the London Eye.  Mari thought that mere observation of it would suffice, but Maxime talked her into boarding it and so they went - here and here is number two part.

Somewhere in between the kids went to have an authentic English breakfast, but guess what - when our tourist realized just  WHAT was hiding behind an attractive name, he chose to have some pancakes and bacon  instead :)

AND THIS IS NOT ALL!

Having restored their energy, the two restless kids went nowhere else but to the Imperial War Museum

And had all the time and pleasure of the world in looking at the tanks and canons (poor English major student - did she sign up for this?).  Ok, ok, Mari says it was fun, and they did bring some appetite from the museum as well as the model of the tank, so Mari took the brave solder to the TRUE AUTHENTIC FISH-N-CHIP dinner

of which Maxime had just a little bite (????) and then demanded a simple modest CHEESEBURGER!  Can you believe it??  On which Mari said proudly, that "my brother is not another tourist, you know!". In any case, the two of them were very quickly befriended by the English couple nearby, who absolutely wanted to help Maxime to put the tank model together

and then His Highness tasted some local cider (with alcohol)!

And even that was not an end of the day yet, because Mari took Maxime for his daily Crispy Cream Donut, Maple glazed, yes, thank you!
