Icon Feast Day

I have started to paint a new Icon. This time for Mari, because I gave my first one, Jesus, to Maxime.

It took me a while to choose one and finally I took this one as a model:

 it is one of the versions of the famous Vladimir Icon... SOmething touched me in this particular one... Just when I made my mind, I went on internet and found out that this WAS the FEAST DAY of the Vladimir Icon... I was trembling, grateful, and a little afraid... Mather Mary, please, watch over us!
